Judy Ryckman has asked for some input.
She was in DC for a meeting with the FAA Administrator, Fanny Rivera, and Ventris Gibson. Ventris mentioned the critical shortage of engineers, accountants, etc. She suggested that the EAGs & Program Managers start working with schools (starting at the junior high level) to encourage students into the math and science area. This will ultimately make them far more marketable as they complete college. Judy was asked that our constituents submit suggestions to her for institutions of higher learning that we can recruit from, as well as the possibility of having them added as a CTI school.
Please let Judy know ASAP of any schools/institutions/colleges, etc. that you would recommend. We can also submit the names of local & state agencies who do placement.
